The Declaration of Interdependence

The Fourth of July seems to me to be the ideal day to launch a new website dedicated to people who are changing (or want to change) the world. While you might think this was planned out well in advance, it wasn’t.  The idea came to me as I was enjoying today’s festivities and reading some great Fourth of July-related quotes on Twitter.

Thanks to the Interconnected Age, I have the tools to communicate this idea and connect it to many people all around the world. Instead of printed broadsides, pamphlets, and newspapers, I can share my ideas, images, and sounds to connect with the 1 billion having personal computers, 1.5 billion with access to the Internet, and almost 4 billion people who own mobile phones. Rather than have to wait days, weeks, or months, you can get this on the same day I had the idea.

Inspired by the many men and women who led the American Revolution, I hereby proclaim this website open for business.
