Why Were Twitter Staffers Using Google Docs? Will You Continue to?

Ever since Techcrunch published some of the many sensitive Twitter documents sent to them by a hacker, there’s been a large amount of debate over ethics. But I’m really curious why more people aren’t asking a different question:
Why would Twitter employees store sensitive company documents on their competitor’s servers?
Probably more relevant to you, why are you (yes, you)? Will you continue to do so after seeing what happened to Twitter?
